Purity is the collection we are judged on, because pale marble hides nothing.
A white ground shows every shift in tone, every repair and every slab taken from a different block — which is why most of the market sells it by the sample and lets the site discover the rest. We sell it by the block: one block reserved to one project, sequenced and numbered before it leaves us, so that the fortieth slab still belongs to the first. That discipline is the product. The stone is simply beautiful on its own.
The collection at a glance
Where the pale stone comes from
Algeria's central sedimentary platforms are among the largest in the Mediterranean basin, and they were laid down slowly. Carbonate precipitated around springs and in shallow basins over geological time, building the fine, even beds that pale Algerian stone is cut from. That slowness is why the ground reads uniform at arm's length and still rewards close inspection: the movement is there, it is simply disciplined.
We work these beds at the block, not on the open market. A pale stone punishes a careless supply chain more than any other: a tone that drifts half a shade between the fortieth and the eightieth slab is invisible in a sample and unmissable across a lobby floor. Selection at source, one block committed to one project, and variation recorded per lot are what make a pale stone specifiable at building scale.
We publish the region and nothing more precise. Site identity is a contractual position that runs both ways — the same confidentiality that keeps your project out of our marketing.
From block to finished piece
We sell the whole range and we control all of it: raw blocks to fabricators with their own sawing capacity, calibrated slabs to distributors, and finished cut-to-size delivered to a drawing, edge-worked, numbered and packed in installation sequence.
The value of buying the finished piece from the house that chose the block is that nothing is lost in the handover. Cut direction, bookmatch sequence, finish and edge detail are decided once, against your drawing, by the people who know what the block can give.
The material
Ivory and cream grounds carry a fine linear movement that reads as texture across a room and as drawing at arm's length. Polished, the ground gains depth and the calcite lifts; honed, it turns dense, matte and almost textile — the finish most architects choose for a wall they want felt rather than noticed. Vein direction is a design decision and not a fixing detail: run it horizontally and a room lengthens, run it vertically and a lobby gains height. Bookmatched pairs turn one block into a single continuous figure, which is the strongest argument pale marble can make, and the reason we reserve whole blocks instead of selling slabs by the piece.
Applications
Interior walls and statement surfaces, reception and bar fronts, bathrooms, and interior floors in a honed finish. Pale marble takes a polish beautifully and loses it to grit, so in circulation areas we specify honed and we say so before the order rather than after the first winter. It is not a material for exterior paving, for freeze-thaw exposure, or for a worktop that will meet lemon juice without a maintenance regime behind it.
Technical documents
Supplied as blocks, 20 and 30 mm slabs, 12 mm tiles and cut-to-size to drawing, with thicker sections on request. V1 to V3 grades describe the expected range of ground tone and veining across a lot; they are not a quality ranking, and the grade is assigned and recorded before you commit. Test data is issued per lot on request rather than published as a general claim — on pale stone the only number worth having is the one measured on the material you are buying.
