The material
Black Azro is the quietest black we quarry, because its subject is an absence: there is almost no veining, and what movement exists is a faint blue cast that appears under cool light and disappears under warm. That makes it the opposite specification to Black Algeria. Where that stone is bought for its white fracture drawing, Black Azro is bought for uniformity — monolithic counters, plinths, single-slab basins, and any piece where a vein crossing a joint would be read as a mistake. It is the stone to choose when the form is the subject and the material must not compete with it.
